Andy Friess
A native of Cedarburg, WI, Coach Andy is the co-founder of Diamond Sports Academy with an extensive playing and coaching background. Andy was a four-year varsity baseball starter at Cedarburg High School, earning numerous awards, including All-State, All-Conference, and All-County honors. Andy also competed at the varsity level in football, basketball and track, earning a total of 13 varsity letters. Following high school, he accepted a full-scholarship to play at NAIA baseball powerhouse, Saint Xavier University (Chicago), becoming a four-year starter and earning All-American, All-Region and All-Conference honors as a catcher. Following a one-year stint with the Green Bay Sultans in the Prairie League of professional baseball (Ind.), Andy has focused on coaching and instructing players at all levels of competition. From Cedarburg High School to Marian University (WI) to youth baseball to youth softball to AAU baseball to club-level softball, Andy has developed players from little league to the collegiate level.

DSA Softball Pitching Instructor
Jenna Callahan
An Attleboro native and pitching ace of the 2026 MIAA Division 1 Runner-Up Attleboro High School softball team, Coach Jenna capped her outstanding high school career leading the Hockomock League with a .545 batting average, finishing the season with 5 HR, 29 RBI and 50 runs scored. Jenna also totalled 132+ innings in the circle, finishing with a 15-4 record, 111 K's and a 3.58 ERA. The multi-time Sun Chronicle All-Star and 4-time Hockomock All-Star finished her career with 127 career hits at the plate and 355 strikeouts from the circle. She has committed to UMASS-Dartmouth and will play softball for the Corsairs.

DSA Baseball Pitching Instructor
Ryan Cormier
DSA's lead pitching instructor, Ryan Cormier is currently a starting pitcher for the Glow Mojis of the professional Cosmic Baseball League. Cosmic Baseball enters its third season, as the league's entertainment-driven games begin in daylight before transitioning to glow-in-the-dark black lights providing fans with an unforgettable stadium experience! Ryan previously played two years of independent pro baseball with the Martinez Sturgeon and Salem Senators of the Pecos League, as well as the North County Thunderbirds of the Empire League. Prior to pro baseball, Ryan was part of three conference championships at Johnson & Wales University, experiencing strong runs in the NCAA Division III tournament while earning 2023 Central New England Baseball Association (CNEBA) Pitcher of the Year.
Coach Ryan is currently playing in his Cosmic Baseball League season. He will be available for pitching lessons in October.





DSA Catcher's Lab - Head Softball Catching Instructor
Dennis Napier
Coach Dennis specializes in catcher development for youth fastpitch softball players. A former catcher, Dennis developed a passion for catcher instruction while helping his daughter learn one of the most demanding positions on the field. Dennis focuses on the complete development of the position, combining strong fundamentals in receiving, blocking, footwork, throwing, and game management with the confidence, communication, and leadership skills required to lead a defense. His instruction emphasizes creating a positive learning environment where athletes can build confidence, improve their skills, and develop a deeper understanding of the game.
Coach Dennis is available for catching lessons at DSA through our new Catcher's Lab program.


DSA Softball Hitting & General Skills Instructor
Lola Ronayne
An Attleboro native, the junior shortstop at Attleboro High School helped lead the Barbardiers to the school's first-ever MIAA Division 1 championship game berth hitting .529 with 18 HRs, 52 RBI and 44 runs scored. She also contributed in the circle, pitching 36+ innings with an ERA of 3.08 and 26 Ks. Throughout her career, Coach Lola has secured her status as a three-time member of both the Sun Chronicle and Hockomock All-Star teams. She has earned a scholarship and has committed to play at NCAA Division 1 UMASS-Amherst following her upcoming senior year at Attleboro High School.
Lola is available for youth softball pitching, hitting and general skills lessons at DSA.





DSA Catcher's Lab - Baseball Catching Instructor
Nick Giordano
Coach Nick brings 12+ years of coaching experience at the High School, AAU, Babe Ruth, and Little North Attleboro League (LNAL) levels, developing players of all ages and skill levels. A former catcher and outfielder at Malden Catholic High School, Nick is dedicated to player development, with a focus on improving baseball fundamentals, positional skills, and overall baseball IQ. He's committed to building confident, disciplined athletes by emphasizing leadership, accountability, teamwork, and strong character in a competitive, positive environment where players are challenged to reach their full potential both on and off the field.

DSA Softball Pitching & General Skills Instructor
Abby Friess
An Attleboro native and member of the 2026 MIAA Division 1 State Runner-Up and #3 ranked Attleboro High School softball team, Coach Abby earned a role as the varsity Bombardiers primary EP/DH for the 2026 season, as a freshman, finishing 4th on the team with 22 RBI. Abby is excited to work with area youth softball players to develop their skills and build their love for softball.
Abby is currently available for youth softball pitching, hitting and general skills lessons at DSA.

Mycala Moody
North alum with college/club softball playing & coaching experience brings her expertise to DSA as instructor for area players, including lefty slap hitters!
